The Willow Tree Ceremony Location

The willow tree ceremony site is located at the main venue on the lower grounds. It towers toward the sky next to a creek with an arched bridge to the left. Warm string lights hang in the lower branches along with flickering lanterns. The walk time from the chandelier exit in the barn to the willow tree is only a minute and a half.

If it’s just the two of you, say your vows right beneath the willow’s branches. If you have guests, we’ll set up the chairs to create an aisle. The wedding party will stand at the edge of the willow branches with the two of you at the center. This assures your photographer has a clear view of everyone. Maximum chair set up is 50 for a classic elopement, ten for the mini-wedding, and six for Simply I Do. A hexagon arbor is available for use with the classic elopements.

The willow sprouts leaves in mid to late March, reaching a full, lush appearance by the end of April. Pink wind flowers bloom around the willow in late August through September. The leaves change to rusty gold in late October and typically drop throughout November. BOHO themes are most popular during this time. The willow has no leaves from mid to late November until it awakens again in mid-March. However, many couples still choose this area because of the string lights and lanterns despite the cold temperatures. (A wedding with guests here is often too cold for your guests in the winter.)

The rain plan for this site with our classic elopements (for example, The Willow Tree Wedding) is the opportunity to change the ceremony time to suit better weather conditions or change to the Creekside Pavilion or chapel for the ceremony.
The rain plan for the The Mini Wedding or Simply I Do is the use of umbrellas or changing the ceremony site to the Creekside Pavilion or chapel.
